Practice Plans

A good drill for minor hockey should involve a high-level description of what skill is being practiced, clear instructions and examples of the steps involved in completing the drill, and careful consideration of wait times to keep the kids engaged.

For younger kids, the limits of their attention spans often are best addressed by breaking into multiple stations, each running a unique drill, then rotating through the stations every 5-7 minutes.
